Sport

The College provides a range of sporting opportunities for students. offers students the opportunity to play representative sport. The College is a part of CGSSSA (Catholic Girls Secondary Schools Sport Association) and MCCS (Metropolitan Catholic Colleges Sports Associations). CGSSSA and MCCS provide students with the opportunity to compete against other schools in our region. Participation in CGSSSA gala day events is a pathway for student selection in NSWCCC (Combined Catholic Colleges) teams and MCCS is a part of our weekly Thursday Sport program.
 

Thursday Sport Program
Throughout the year, all Year 7 to 10 students will participate in regular Thursday sport. Options include:

  • Swimming Skills at Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre
  • Dragon Boating
  • Cricket facilitated by NSW Cricket
  • Soccer skills facilitated by NSW Football
  • AFL skills facilitated by NSW AFL
  • Touch Football
  • Zumba
  • Taekwondo
  • Gym and fitness skills
  • Tennis
  • Boxing

 

Representative Sport

Students are given the opportunity to represent the College in over 22 different sports in the following competitions:
 
Metropolitain Combined Catholic Schools (MCCS)

This is a Thursday competitive sport opportunity for students in Years 7-10. More information can be found on the MCCS website.
